What to Know Before Getting a Conch Piercing

What is a Conch Piercing?

The conch piercing are placed in the middle shell of the year and named as such for the similarity this part of the ear has with the Conch Seashell. There are two placements for a conch piercing, the inner conch is the small, curved area closer to the ear canal or the outer conch, which is the larger and flatter area of the ear.

Cartilage piercings should be done with a needle which reduces the risk of infection and ensures placement and healing.

How to Style Your Conch Piercing

The conch piercing is the perfect choice to update your look or add to your earring stack. Once your conch piercing has healed you can wear a wide variety of earrings, from barbells to studs and hoop earrings.

Always check the sizing of your piercing and diameter of the jewellery. Always use a professional piercing technician and seek advice to find out if a conch piercing is suitable for you.
